The name of the magazine and the writing is mostly white. MOJO is written in upper case and bold, making it stand out. Sly Stone is the man in the image that is the background for over half of the page. The image of Sly Stone has a red hat and red shirt as well as a tie with red stars, this is coherent with the red numbering down the left hand side of the page, and the sub-headings 'features', 'cover story' and 'sly stone has come a long way'- all of these sub-headings are in upper case making them stand out as a new part of writing/ a different subject, this is the same case with the sub-headings that are given to us in white which can be said is coherent with the white stars on his tie and possibly even his white teeth. Sly Stone's white and gold tasels dangling down the side of his arm is coherent with the white and gold striped line above and below the date and issue. Two lines are used in a similar way, yet they are in red, above and below the cover story, helping the reader to identify that this is an improtant part , seperating it from the rest of the text.

This is the second part of the contents page. However in my personal opinion, I believe that this half of the contense page is not as appeling to me as the above one. I believe that it seems a bit messy, in particular the images, that don't seem to gel together. However the three images in the middle are the smallest of the six seen on the left of the page and all three have motifs of red, this can also be seen as coherent with the red sub headings. The white background on the right side of the paper makes the writing, written in red, black and gold stand out. Nevertheless this still looks particularly plain even if it is coherent withthe candles being held by the four men in the top image.
